Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation management to ensure efficient coordination of resources and timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including managing routes and tracking vehicles.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Utilize GPS systems and transportation management software to monitor and optimize routes.
- Handle emergency situations by providing quick and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and monitor driver performance.
Skills:
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management.
- Experience with GPS systems for route optimization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
